At Delahenty Machinery, we provide wiper dies for tube bending applications where internal support is needed to help control material movement and minimise unwanted wrinkling during tight-radius bends. Wiper dies form an important part of the tooling setup for many demanding tube bending applications.

We understand that the correct wiper die needs to be matched to the tube, material, bend radius and bending process. Choosing the appropriate tooling can have a direct effect on the quality and consistency of the finished bend.

Our tooling experience allows us to look at the wiper die as part of the complete bending setup rather than as an isolated component. The relationship between the bend die, clamp die, pressure die, mandrel and wiper all needs to be considered when setting up a demanding application.

We can provide different wiper die solutions, including one-piece and tip-type designs, depending on the application and machine requirements.
