The double mesh bending machine allows the creation of complete polygonal mesh cages in a few seconds, thus reducing manual labour. The fastest way to create slabs, columns, walls and more. Suitable to be used by preshape- but also precast companies who appreciate speed and ease of manufacturing the reinforcing elements required.

The ideal choice for manufacturing bended mesh in large quantities even with large size shapes.

Twinbend consists of two units, one fixed and one mobile, for bending on 2 sides simultaneously the same mesh panel, thus reducing considerably working times. The distance between the two sections to be bent varies according to the desired bending needs.

Easily programmable thanks to the control console with touch screen display, with simple and intuitive controls which allow to adjust also the bending speed.

General Description

• The machine is composed by two bending units with adjustable arms assembled on a unique support, one of them moving on guides operated by a gearbox motor.
• The movement is controlled by an encoder and the position is visualized on the display of the control console.
• When bending simultaneously with the two arms the length of the central bending side (example: stirrup “U”) can be from minimum 200 mm. to maximum 1500 mm.
• The bending angles are controlled by an encoder.
• The bending arms are operated by hydraulic cylinders.
• It is possible to bend also with a single arm (mobile or fix), thus realizing bending sides up to min 70 mm.
• Hydraulic system with double body pump and n. 4 hydraulic cylinders for each bending unit
• Standard bending pins n. 25 for each unit – diam. 19 mm*
• Panel for the electric/electronic system, PLC, control console with an LC touch screen display, buttons and selectors for the managing and programming of the working cycles and the manual control of all the working operations.
• The operating system controls all the working cycles (creation, storage up to 20 working cycles, starting operation, recall, cancellation).

The operating mode are:

• Automatic double mode (automatic positioning of the mobile unit at the memorized quota and simultaneous bending operation of the two units)
• Single mode with the fixed unit (bending with the fixed unit)
• Single mode with the mobile unit (bending with the mobile unit)

The machine is equipped with:

• one pedal to control the translating of the mobile unit.
• one pedal (marked with “1”) to execute the bending with one operator. a second pedal (marked with “2”) to execute the bending with 2 operators.
