Bewo Latest Tube-Cutting Technology

Now-a-days all sub-Contractors of Tube Cutting are being put not only under price pressure but are also being confronted with ‘Just-In-Time’ and ‘Zero-Defects’ deliveries in addition to being able to serve the customers with their tubular requirements.  This means smaller batches, stricter tolerance levels, and more attention being paid to cleanliness, packaging and value adding.  For a sub-contractor to remain competitive in today’s market they need to pay attention to meeting requirements like: higher reliability; higher output; tighter tolerances; presentation of packed goods; and speedier change overs; when it comes to the supply of cut to length tubing.

For years Bewo [the Dutch Tube Cutting Machine Specialist] has been offering robust, fast and reliable machines which have a worldwide reputation throughout the industry.  Over 2000 installations worldwide being used in daily production has Bewo be the ‘First Choice’ in the market.  And rest can be assured in the knowledge and all of Bewo’s machines are designed, engineered, produced and assembled in-house at the works in Tilburg, the Netherlands.

Due to constantly researching and market testing, Bewo is able to adjust and develop their program swiftly to meet the needs of its customers.  This has recently lead to the development of two new tube cutting cells, one of which is based on high speed sawing; the other, on the latest laser technology.

The high speed sawing machine features: a complete automated fast-change-over; extremely-high-output figures; a new state of the art centralised full colour Bewo / Siemens operator control system;a new fully CNC length controlled super-fast-feeding-system and enables the customer to extend the line with fully integrated links as brush de-burring; In-Line measuring- (including SPC control system); tube washing; and different tube packaging systems.

To meet to the increasing demand of tubular components with added value, [as there are holes, shapes, notches etc]  Bewo, together with the Belgium laser specialist Balliu, has  developed their new 3-4 axis tube laser cutting machine which features: the latest Rofin Sinar laser technology; fully CNC length-controlled super-fast-feeding-system; and a state-of-the-art full colour Bewo-Balliu / Siemens operator control system.

Both new cutting cells offer the market Optimal Flexibility to enable the suppliers of added valued fixed-lengths to stay competitive in Today’s and Tomorrow’s market.

Another big advantage is Bewo’s range of models giving customer the opportunity to select the best machine for the job, with regard to capacity, output and cost per cut.  Together with its worldwide service back up, this makes Bewo the most flexible and important supplier of fully automatic tube cut off cells in the tube branch.

If you want to remain an important player in the tube cutting market, we can only say, make sure you do not miss out!
